We need to know ASAP - Auction Date Change

Carolina Storage Center LLC - Lyndsey Schrier

We need to know ASAP if you are able to change your auction date after you have already sent out the Auction Letters via certified mail with your intended date? Is that legal in North Carolina? We had posted the date as 12-29-16 in our Auction letters and on the NCSSA website, but due to an unforseen circumstance, we might need to change the date to 12-30-16.

The auction must be held at the date and time in the lien letter. When the auction is going to be held at a different date and time - you must send out updated lien letters. You still have to satisfy the 20 day window from the date the letter was mailed until the date of the auction. You will not have enough time to do so to have the auction on 12/30/16.

I am not sure what the unforeseen circumstance is but if you cannot have the auction today - it will have to be rescheduled for January.
