We have 24 hr access currently and are looking to cut back on the gate access hours. Any suggestions on access hours that have worked for you? Also do you charge a fee if they need 24 hr access for example commercial tenants? Thanks for your help!

Thank you Barbara for your feedback, do you have parking and storage units??

Hello Connie! We use 6am-10pm as well. We have found that no one really accesses after this time and that most customers like that there is some structure as to when customers can visit.
On the stores where we changed the access hours from 24 hour access to a time frame - we had no issues.
For those businesses that store with us who require 24 hour access - we ask why they would need to get in after hours. For example: it makes perfect sense for a emergency restoration company to need 24 hour access but not an accountant:) We also make sure any business that requests 24 hour access provides a business license so we can confirm their business. If they ask why, we tell them we are doing our due diligence with regards to who we allow 24 hour access to ensure our other customers are protected as much as possible.
I hope that helps:)

Yes, we do. Sometimes those spaces fall into the exceptions category for 24 hour access. But we really try to limit 24 hour access across the board. The tenant needs a good reason before we will grant it.

Our default access hours is 6:00 am until 10:00 pm, although we do allow exceptions and we do not charge extra for that.
