Conference Information
The 2nd annual Southeastern Self Storage Convention and Tradeshow will be held Thursday, Oct. 16 through Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008. The Alabama Self Storage Association (ALSSA), Georgia Self Storage Association (GASSA), North Carolina Self Storage Association (NCSSA) and South Carolina Self Storage Association (SCSSA) will come together once again for a convention and tradeshow you don’t want to miss!
The Convention Task Force is planning a golf tournament to be held Thursday morning, October 16. More information will be available shortly. The conference registration desk will be open Thursday afternoon from 1 – 5 pm. Help kick off the conference by attending the Wine and Cheese Reception for all attendees starting at 6 pm in the Vendor Hall!
Educational sessions will be offered all day Friday along with a luncheon and keynote speaker. Friday evening there will be a Beach Party where you can network and enjoy the beach atmosphere at the same time! Enjoy the Low County Pig Pickin’ and don’t forget your best beach attire! The conference will wrap up by noon on Saturday, after a morning full of educational sessions.
Management Certification Course Modules
This conference proudly offers two modules of the Self Storage Association’s Management Certification Courses (MCC). The Sales and Human Resources Module for certification will be offered on Thursday and the Financial Management Module will be offered on Friday.

Booth Space
To reserve booth space at the 2008 Southeastern Self Storage Convention and Tradeshow, please complete the Vendor Registration form and return it to NCSSA at the address on the form. Booth fees include two complimentary conference registrations, booth space, and a draped/skirted table. Pop-up displays are welcome. You may purchase more than one booth space if your display requires additional space. Management reserves the right to make accommodations necessary to best serve all vendors. No vendor shall assign, sublet or apportion the whole or any part of space contracted. Payment must accompany a booth registration form to be valid. Booth spaces are first come, first serve. Sponsors receive preferential booth assignments.
Sponsorship
The NCSSA is growing and as a response to member requests for more sponsorship and advertising opportunities, the association is happy to offer two sponsorship packages. The first package is NCSSA-specific and includes benefits such as complimentary ads in the newsletter, sponsorship of regional training seminars and free membership for the year following the sponsorship. Companies choosing to use the NCSSA sponsorship package will have funds allotted towards sponsorship of convention events of their choice. They then receive corresponding convention sponsor benefits as well, which are detailed in the second sponsorship package!
For the 2008 convention, the options are endless – sponsor a social event, educational program or other convention enhancement and be recognized by attendees from across the Southeast. There are affordable partial sponsorships available, as well as great values for sole sponsorships at key networking and educational events.

Hotel Accommodations
The 2008 Southeastern Self Storage Convention and Tradeshow will take place at the Hilton Myrtle Beach at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach, SC. To make hotel reservations, please call 800-876-0010 and refer to group code “NSS” before September 26, 2008 to receive the conference room rate of $109 plus tax per night.
