When you lease outdoor parking space who is responsible for any damage that may occur to your tenant's property while parked in their space? Such as trailers, rv's, boats, etc.

Kevin, what company do you use for parking insurance? How is parking insurance different from regular auto insurance?

We use StorSmart Insurance. They just recently started offering Parking Insurance. It's a primary pay policy, so God forbid something happen they don't check your auto insurance.

Lisa, there is actually an addendum post in the forms section of the website. If you click on the members only tab and then forms you will see it there. It's virtually identical to the one we use.

If you are using the NCSSA lease, the tenant is. We are not responsible. You should also be using a Parking Addendum to double up and lay out additional rules pertinent to Parking. Lastly, we require all parking tenants to but our Parking Insurance, God forbid something happens.
