Meet Your NCSSA Board Member! Mindy Hart

Mindy Hart - Assistant Vice President - Morningstar

Mindy Hart joined Morningstar in 2005 and is responsible for the investment of the company’s private equity funds designated for self-storage and marina assets.  Her duties include market identification, asset qualification, and underwriting.  She is also responsible for due diligence process management, internal escrow/transaction closing, and is the primary administrator for the company’s property and liability insurance program.  To date, she has been involved in closings for 76+ self-storage properties, 9 marinas and portfolio recapitalizations with a combined total real estate investment value of $867mm.

Mindy has her B.A. in Business Administration & Accounting from Washington State University.  In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking and staying active with her husband, two boys and French bulldog.

Morningstar Properties is headquartered in Matthews, NC, and was founded in 1981. The company owns, develops & currently operates 84 assets throughout the Southeast & Mid-Atlantic US under the brand names Morningstar Storage and Morningstar Marinas.
